FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                       October 1, 2003

Farley will collaborate with Major League Baseball Properties to create a series of “decade pieces” that will highlight extraordinary Major League Baseball players from past World Series games.  The collection, which will include 11 works, will represent World Series games from 1903 through 2002. In addition to the 11 decades pieces, Farley will be on site throughout the 2003 World Series to paint original, of-the-moment works representing each game of the 2003 Fall Classic.

In 2002, Major League Baseball Properties commissioned Farley as the commemorative artist of The MasterCard Presents Major League Baseball Memorable Moments Program.  As part of that program, Farley created original paintings representing each of the selected moments.  This rare collection now tours the United States for baseball fans and art enthusiasts to enjoy.

Farley has been commissioned to create original artwork for a number of high-profile sporting events, including the 2003 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Gary Carter, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the US Open, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup championships, World Polo championships and the Olympics.  Farley also has earned commissions to paint musicians such as B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Chuck Mangione and The Four Tops.  Farley and his works have been featured on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX Sports, ESPN and USA Networks.  Farley Art is a Dreams, Inc. (DRMS) company.
